Charlotte and Hayden’s Wedding
Venue: Brinkburn, Northumberland
Date : 8th October 2016
“All days are nights to see till I see thee,
And nights bright days when dreams do show thee me.” William Shakespeare
It’s the beginning of Autumn and the leaves are turning, Charlotte and Hayden’s Wedding coincided with their move from Northumberland down to the South of England. This was a very special day for them, their friends and their families. Brinkburn is set amongst woodland and caressed by the River Coquet, adjacent to the Priory and the Old Manor House. Charlotte and her Bridal party stayed in the cottages on the eve of the Wedding watching movies and playing games.
Charlotte’s bouquet echoed the palette of the roses and flowers around the beautiful gardens. Charlotte was very calm throughout the preparations and was ready well in advance with help from bridesmaids Rebecca, Anna and Kirsty. The bridesmaid’s dresses were a dark blue (there is probably a more accurate description that I’m not conversant with). It is always nice when we see the father of the bride lose his composure when he sees his daughter in her wedding dress and this was the case with Charlotte’s dad. The Old Manor House is wonderful for a photographer with it’s shabby chic and amazing windows.
The ceremony was held in the White Room and the Reception was in the Teepees, both Charlotte and Hayden smiled though out. Best Man Ryan did his best not to get too emotional and expressed his sadness that his good friend was leaving him for the swanky South.
It was a joy and a privilege to be a part of their day and to capture images that will bring a lifetime of happy memories.
Hope you enjoy the images and the slideshow.
