Kieron and Hannah were married in May at Abbey House Hotel on a gloriously hot and sunny day. At the bottom of the South Lakes, Abbey House Hotel & Gardens which is just a short drive from the Heart of the English Lake District, only 20 minutes from Windermere. Near to Barrow-In-Furness it is set in 14 acres of landscaped gardens and private woodland with access to the neighbouring ruins of Furness Abbey, one of England’s most powerful monasteries in the Middle Ages.
We met up with Hannah and the Bridal Party at the venue where they had stayed the night before. My second shooter, Stacey, went to photograph the Groom and his Groomsmen including Darren, the best man and also the Groom’s Father. There were several emotional moments before the ceremony including the first looks by the Bridesmaids, Kirsty, Jess and Stephanie and by the Father of the Bride, Andrew.
As always, our job is to capture the tears, the laughter and the smiles, and on this occasion there were plenty of all. The venue was beautifully decorated and our Toastmaster, Bob also did a great job.
The day went wonderfully well and it was a real pleasure to be part of it. They were delighted with their images and said “Laurence and Stacey, Thank you so much for all the lovely photos, we love them and can’t thank you enough for the fabulous memories, Hannah and Kieron”.
